Public Transport

From the city centre you reach the Exhibition Grounds by tram/U-Bahn/suburban railway or from the south by bus.

As following you will find the entrance of the Exhibition Ground near the public transport stops.

Urban rail (S-Bahn) service to/from Hannover Airport
The airport is approx. 11 km north of Hannover and around 20 km from the exhibition grounds. Suburban railway (S-Bahn) line S5 runs all year from the airport to Hannover main railway station. The S-Bahn station is located between Terminals B and C.
Underground (U-Bahn) line 8 runs from Hannover main railway station to the exhibition grounds, serving the North 1 + 2 entrances. For this final leg of your journey, no additional ticket is necessary; just keep your S-Bahn ticket to show upon request.
