Declaration on accessibility
Deutsche Messe AG strives to make its event websites accessible in accordance with the Barrier-Free Access Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its associated ordinance, while also considering the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This declaration applies to all event websites.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
The event websites are currently partially compatible with the requirements of the BFSG and WCAG 2.2 AA. The ticket store has already been largely made accessible. Other areas of the websites are currently in the process of being redesigned for accessibility or are being reviewed with regard to the need for accessibility.

Enforcement and conciliation procedures
If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above contact option, you can submit an application to the conciliation body, set up by the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities in Lower Saxony, to initiate conciliation proceedings in accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG). The arbitration board according to §9d NBGG has the task of settling disputes between people with disabilities and public bodies of the state of Lower Saxony on the subject of accessibility in IT. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. No legal assistance is required.

This declaration was prepared on 20.06.2025 and last updated on 20.06.2025. The assessment was carried out by means of a self-assessment, as well as external assessments by external service providers and random tests of selected components.
