The Engineer Woman Award and the Young Engineer Woman Award are intended to honor women from the STEM sector who, through their commitment, their ideas and their work, set innovative accents in the technical environment of their company and motivate and inspire their colleagues.

But the speakers at FEMWORX also make an important contribution to encouraging women in industry and in the STEM sector to pursue their careers with confidence and determination. They show how important networks and mentors are in helping women not to give up and to focus on their own skills and passions.

This year, around 80 high-caliber speakers will once again encourage women to pursue their careers in industry or the STEM sector. Among them is the founder of Global Digital Women Tijen Onaran. In 2017, she began bringing together women from the digital sector to form the largest women's network in the field of digitalization. This year, she will open the FEMWORX career congress on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 10 a.m.

Natascha Wegelin, better known as Madame Moneypenny, is certainly already a household name. She has made it her mission to help women become financially self-determined and thus lay the foundations for their financial independence. On Thursday, April 25, 12:30 p.m., she will give the keynote speech on "Own your money, own your life - 7 money decisions for a happy life".

On Friday, April 26, Annahita Esmailzadeh will give the keynote speech at 11:30 a.m. on the topic "Are you still judging or are you already living? Putting an end to prejudice in the world of work". Annahita Esmailzadeh is Tech Manager at Microsoft Germany, where she heads up Customer Success Account Management for the energy and chemical industries. In addition, her book "Von Quotenfrauen und alten weißen Männern" went straight to number 3 on the SPIEGEL bestseller list.

The speakers' appearances will be rounded off with book signing sessions in the FEMWORX bookshop. Together with the TAO bookshop, there will be a dedicated bookshop at the congress where the speakers' books will be on sale. This will allow participants to take home further information on the congress topics and, ideally, have them signed by the authors.
