Dr. Holger Feist is member of the board of Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover. He was appointed to the company’s management board effective May 1, 2026.

His board portfolio includes the three business divisions New & Global Business Development, Finance & Risk Management, and Marketing & Digitalization, as well as the staff departments Legal, Internal Audit, and Guest Fairs.

The New & Global Business Development division consists of five departments: New Fairs & Events, Business Development, Deutsche Messe Technology Academy, International Sales, and Venue Sales.

The Finance & Risk Management division is structured into four specialist departments: Finance & Accounting, Controlling & Sustainability, Corporate Subsidiary Management, and Procurement / Service Provider Controlling.

The Marketing & Digitalization division comprises the six departments Marketing Services, Digitalization, IT, Services Product Management & Sales, Sales Operations, and Access & Information Services / Smart Venue.

Before being appointed to the Executive Board of Deutsche Messe in 2026, he had served as Managing Partner at The Nunatak Group since 2023. Prior to that, he worked as Chief Strategy Officer at Messe München and held various management positions at Hubert Burda Media from 2008 to 2014. He began his professional career at McKinsey & Company in Munich in 2001.

Holger Feist studied economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and completed his doctorate. He subsequently served in 2000/2001 as a Visiting Scholar in Public & International Affairs at Princeton University.
