Social engagements

As a Hannover business with a long-standing track record of commitment, we put social responsibility at the top of our agenda.

Hannover is our home base, and we stand united with the city and region of Hannover in offering top hospitality to our tradeshow visitors – and in helping the community whenever and wherever we can.

We take responsibility

Our social commitment keeps us close to the citizens of Hannover. We’ve been donating the proceeds of our Christmas raffles to social institutions in and around Hannover for years. This commitment was once again underscored by handing over a check on behalf of all our employees to the Aegidius House in January 2019.

The Aegidius House AUF DER BULT is an independent, short-term care facility for disadvantaged children and young people between the ages of 0 and 25. The Aegidius House is a model project with state-wide significance for all of Lower Saxony; it was developed in close coordination with the Lower Saxony Ministry of Social Affairs and enjoys the ministry’s continued financial support.

“(...) I was particularly impressed by the commitment of the organization’s staff members but also of the many volunteers caring for disadvantaged young people! I am more certain than ever that the money of our employees and Deutsche Messe is well-placed here,” says Dr. Andreas Gruchow, member of the Deutsche Messe Managing Board.
