Hannover. International business development is a key driver of growth for Deutsche Messe and a central pillar of its corporate strategy. To further accelerate the expansion of its global business, Arno Reich (55) assumed leadership of the newly established Global Business Development unit within the New and Global Business Development division on 1 July 2026.

In his new role, Reich is responsible for the strategic development of Deutsche Messe's international trade fair business. His key responsibilities include the systematic expansion of the company's international portfolio as well as the development of proprietary brands and new event themes. The objective is to drive global business growth by unlocking new market opportunities, further strengthening the company's international presence, and fostering sustainable growth across its target markets worldwide.

In addition, Arno Reich serves as Managing Director of Hannover Fairs International GmbH and Hannover Milano Global Germany GmbH. These subsidiaries manage Deutsche Messe AG's international investments and support the development of new business opportunities in global markets.
