We look forward to deepening our collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs and Hannover's local authorities in the future."

Lower Saxony's Minister of Education and Cultural Affairs, Julia Willie Hamburg, says: "Together, we can always achieve more. This great news is further proof of that. I am delighted at the coup we have pulled off together with didacta. We are bringing Europe's most important trade fair for the education sector back to Hannover in 2027. I am delighted to see our endeavors rewarded. didacta's return to Lower Saxony sends a powerful signal – not just for Hannover as a premier trade fair location, but particularly for Lower Saxony as an education hub. The event will spark new ideas, drive forward developments, and enrich the educational landscape in doing so. didacta 2027 will make Hannover a key venue for nationwide networking and exchange among education stakeholders. For many people in Lower Saxony – as well as for educators from northern and eastern Germany – this represents a valuable opportunity to be part of it. Lower Saxony's education system stands to gain significantly from this."

"didacta is a flagship event, both for Hannover as a trade fair location and as a center of education. The major challenges in the education system demand innovative solutions and collective action. As a showcase for innovation and a platform for dialog, didacta provides crucial stimuli that play a key role in optimizing our kindergartens, schools, universities, and educational institutions across the board. This trade show is therefore a great gain for our city," enthuses Belit Onay, Mayor of Hannover.

"We are delighted that, together with the Lower Saxony Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs and the City of Hannover, we succeeded in convincing the Didacta Association to hold didacta again at the Hannover Exhibition Center. We see this is a sign that our endeavors to make Deutsche Messe fit for the future and to offer new incentives to guest-event organizers are bearing fruit," explains Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Managing Board of Deutsche Messe.
